Veterans turn business ideas into something real on screen

A small group of veterans from across the state recently gathered for a hands-on workshop focused on turning raw business concepts into actual software products. The event, held over two days, gave participants a rare chance to move beyond the idea stage and see their visions take shape on a computer screen.

Organizers designed the program to bridge a common gap. Many veterans leave the military with strong discipline and problem-solving skills, but they often lack the technical know-how to build a digital product. This workshop aimed to change that by pairing each attendee with mentors who guided them through the early stages of software development.
