Three individuals and organizations were recognized for their work supporting New Hampshire's business community and workforce during a major industry gathering.
Bruce Berke, Donnalee Lozeau and the group Bring Back the Trades were honored at the 113th annual dinner and awards celebration hosted by the state's leading business and industry association. The event brought together business leaders, policymakers and community members to recognize those who have made a lasting impact on the state's economy.
Berke was recognized for his long record of advocacy on behalf of employers and his work shaping public policy that affects businesses across New Hampshire. Lozeau, a former mayor of Nashua, was honored for her dedication to public service and her efforts to strengthen local economies and community development. Bring Back the Trades was praised for its work promoting vocational education and skilled trades as viable career paths, helping to address persistent workforce shortages in construction and other industries.
Organizers said the honorees reflect the range of efforts needed to keep the state's economy strong, from policy advocacy to local leadership to building the next generation of skilled workers. The annual dinner remains one of the largest gatherings of business leaders in the state and serves as a showcase for those who have gone above and beyond in service to New Hampshire.
