Mayor-Elect Sharon Nadrowski has chosen Andrew J. Casais to serve as the next Business Administrator for the City of Bayonne. Casais brings over 15 years of experience in municipal management, including a previous stint as Bayonne's Chief of Staff from 2014 to 2017. In that role, he oversaw key operational reforms and pushed forward major infrastructure investments.
Nadrowski stated that Casais has a proven track record of getting results and understands the day-to-day needs of the city. She emphasized his familiarity with local government operations and his history of working collaboratively with department heads. Casais is expected to hit the ground running, focusing on budget efficiency and public works improvements.
Casais himself expressed gratitude for the appointment, saying he looks forward to rejoining the city team. He noted that his priority will be to ensure smooth transitions for ongoing projects and to support the new administration's goals for economic development. The appointment requires formal approval from the City Council, which is expected to take up the matter at its next regular meeting.
