Plaza Asteca restaurant open for business at Westmoreland Mall site

The aroma of Mexican cuisine drifted out of Plaza Azteca's newest restaurant in Hempfield on Friday as the doors officially opened to the public. Located at the site outside Westmoreland Mall, the restaurant is now serving customers with a full menu that covers brunch, lunch, and dinner options. One woman who stopped in for lunch Friday greeted the smiling staff with a warm "I'm so excited you're here." The new location aims to bring fresh, made-to-order dishes to local shoppers and residents, adding another dining choice to the area. With a focus on traditional flavors and a welcoming atmosphere, Plaza Azteca hopes to become a regular stop for families and mall visitors alike. The restaurant's opening marks a continued expansion for the chain, which has built a reputation for its Mexican fare and service.
