Meteor Pulse Introduces Hiiiilo, an AI Receptionist for WhatsApp

Kuala Lumpur agency Meteor Pulse has launched Hiiiilo, an AI-powered WhatsApp receptionist that answers, books and suggests add-ons for Malaysian businesses. The tool is designed to handle customer conversations directly inside WhatsApp, a platform already used by millions of people across the country.

Hiiiilo responds to common questions, checks availability, confirms appointments and recommends extra services during the same chat. Businesses can connect their existing WhatsApp number and let the assistant manage routine messages without hiring additional staff. The system works around the clock, which matters for salons, clinics, restaurants and service providers that receive inquiries outside normal working hours.

According to Meteor Pulse, the receptionist learns from each business's own menu, pricing and schedule. When a request falls outside its knowledge, it hands the conversation to a human team member. The agency says early users have seen faster reply times and fewer missed bookings.

The launch adds to a growing wave of AI tools built for messaging apps in Southeast Asia. Many small businesses rely on WhatsApp as their main sales channel, yet struggle to keep up with incoming chats. Hiiiilo aims to close that gap by combining automated replies with basic sales support.

Meteor Pulse plans to roll out updates in the coming months, including support for multiple languages and deeper reporting for business owners.
